Answer 2

As Jack and Tom put up their tent, they didn't notice the big sign "don't camp here". They were having some good times broiling the marshmallows on the fire pit. Inevitably they heard a noisy clamor, they went out to look what it was at the bank of the river.

They went ahead and pursued by a snake and lost all sense of direction in the backwoods in the wake of strolling for some time suddenly saw a bear. Jack and Tom planned took cover behind the shrubs to stow away and they planned to ran away but  while running Tom fell down and bear came near him and then bear started smelling him after that bear disappeared, Jack was surprised that bear didn't harm Tom and he rushed towards him and ask him what have you done as he didn't harm you? Tom told him that i have stopped breathing so he thought i am alredy dead and as i have learened in  science that bear don't eat dead organisms they both laugh and  strolled for quite a while.

They ran over a great deal of one more creature yet figured out how to get away. at last arrived at where they had set up their tent. they got together quick and returned home.

How are the details of Unoka's life and personality important to the development of the plot in this section?
A. They highlight Okonkwo's ambition and drive for success.
B. They contrast the manners and customs important to Igbo society.
C. They contrast being a failure as a man in Igbo society to Okonkwo's example.
D. They highlight what steps a man in Igbo society must take to be accomplished.

Answers

Answer: its A

Explanation

The correct option is A. The details of Unoka's life and personality are important to the development of the plot in this section because they highlight Okonkwo's ambition and drive for success.

Okonkwo proves to his people his superior strength and fighting prowess by triumphing in the wrestling battle.

How was Okonkwo successful?

Okonkwo actively adopts opposing beliefs and develops into a successful, affluent, frugal, fearless, and violent man who is vehemently opposed to music and anything else he deems to be "soft," such as dialogue and feeling. He is incredibly stoic. By adhering to these principles, Okonkwo achieves enormous social and financial success.

When Okonkwo won the village's wrestling championship, he first rose to prominence and recognition. He had "given dignity to his village" at the age of eighteen by defeating the seven-year champion. Okonkwo proves to his people his immense strength and prowess as a warrior by winning the wrestling bout.

Thus, A is the best choice. Because they illustrate Okonkwo's ambition and desire for achievement, the specifics of Unoka's life and personality are crucial to the development of the story in this part.

Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening

by Robert Frost

Whose woods these are I think I know.

His house is in the village though;

He will not see me stopping here

To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer

To stop without a farmhouse near

Between the woods and frozen lake

The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake

To ask if there is some mistake.

The only other sound's the sweep

Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep.

But I have promises to keep,

And miles to go before I sleep,

And miles to go before I sleep.
