It was a holiday season of contrasts; of traditional gatherings and new experiences. People were innovating and creating ways to enjoy the holiday season in spite of the restrictions. Installment plans were becoming increasingly popular, allowing people to purchase gifts in a more economical way.

I'm hoping for a brighter and more peaceful future, but until then, I'm thankful for the joy and hope that this holiday season has brought.
