Example:
My life is like a ladder. At first, I took my first step believing it was all going to be ok. I took 2 more steps. The ladder started to wobble. Me and my friends started to have constant angruments in and out of public. I decided to keep moving. I took 3 more steps. The ladder started to shake. My friends would leave me out of conversations, ignore me when they were around other people, and leave me all alone. They would say I was being dramatic. I took one more step. The ladder started to shake so much that I almost fell. My friends told me they weren't going to be my friends anymore and just left me standing they while they were laughing walking away. As I was abt to fall, the shaking stopped. Someone was holding the ladder from shaking. It was my mom. She helped me realize that I don't need my friends, especially not the ones that treated me like I wasn't human and didn't have feelings. My mom listened to me when I need her most. She helped me through the hard times. When I started to love myself and be confident I realized my next step...was my last. I finally made it to the top. I reached my goal by believing in myself and realizing that I am good enough and I don't need my friends telling me that I'm anything other than that. All I needed was for people to help me reach the top.
