My topic, Public transportation SHOULD be free for city residents. pls help me :(

For my first sentence, I said,

Some may believe public transit wouldn't be safe. (pls help me finish it :)) )

Answers

Some may believe public transit wouldn't be safe. THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH YOUR TOPIC.....

chile, anyways....

Many people think that public transportation shouldn't be free. On the basis that there are many city residents who could use free public transportation, I claim that the city should put an end to high fees and metro cards. Making public transportation free will reduce the number of accidents that occur with pedestrians. Other people also believe that the city would lose money. While this is true, you could more easily tax city residents each year, causing you to have the same amount of money. This would help the city in not having to keep up with collecting money from driver's, worrying about theft, or people taking public transportation without paying. It would also take the financial burden off of people buying cars or paying expensive fees to travel within city limits. So, all in all, it would be a widely agreed upon benefit for public transportation to be free for city residents.

presented here?

There is nothing there. But, counterclaims are basically agreeing or having an understanding of a point(s) from the other side if the argument. Once you address a counterclaim, you always want to disprove or restate your strongest points. A counterclaim makes persuasive writing much stronger.

when someone dies but after a while we forget and life continues not until we hear another death

the author states that;” And the grief of ten years ago rite, A walk down the garden carrying death

in an egg ,And the sky singing, the trees still waving farewell, When dying was nothing to

Based on your understanding of theology and prefixes. which word most likely means "half of a sixteenth note?"
Dichotomy
semiquaver
antediluvian
biennial

im doing this for a test and i need an answer now :')

Answers

Answer:

Semiquaver, though this is not what it means in reality.

Explanation:

Dichotomy - wrong because di- means 2, not half (it's a problem w/ 2 choices)

Semiquaver - I think right? semi- means half, though the ACTUAL meaning is half of an eighth note, or just a regular 16th note

Antediluvian - wrong because it refers to the biblical time before (ante-) the flood (-diluvian), nothing to do with music

Biennial - wrong because bi- here means two, and -ennial means yearly. The word itself means once every two years

Semiquaver is the only one that's close. I hope this helps!

If Team Member must take medications at work, which of the following actions is appropriate?

A. Never open a medication near food prep areas or food holding areas
B. Take medication only in break area
C. Keep medications in a locker

Answer:

Actions B and C

Explanation:

Medication shouldn't come near food, food prep areas, or food storing areas. Medication should be taken in a break area, away from other food, and I would say that keeping medications in a locker so that the owner is the only one who has access to them is probably a good idea.

During Old Major's speech, he says,

"Why then do we continue in this miserable condition? Because nearly the whole of the produce of our labour is stolen from us by human beings. There, comrades, is the answer to all our problems. He is relying on the propaganda technique of "pinpointing the enemy. Therefore, option (A) is correct.

By identifying Man as the sole adversary, he simplifies the complex issues of the animals' suffering, placing the blame on a specific target. This technique creates a clear and easily identifiable enemy, fostering unity and directing the animals' frustrations.

Old Major's portrayal of Man as the root cause of their problems taps into the emotions of the animals and offers a solution by removing Man from the equation. By presenting this enemy, Old Major stirs a sense of collective grievance among the animals, rallying them to take action against their oppressors. Through this propaganda technique, Old Major seeks to galvanize the animals and establish a common purpose in their struggle for liberation. Therefore, option (A) is correct.
