As I travel on the Trail of Tears, I can't help but feel a great sense of sadness. I am saddened for my people, who have been forced to leave our homeland. I am saddened for the loss of our way of life. And I am saddened for the future, knowing that our lives will never be the same.

But amidst all this sadness, there is also a sense of hope. Hope that we will be able to start anew in Indian Territory, and hope that we will one day be able to return to our homeland.

This journey is not going to be easy, but I am hopeful that it will be worth it in the end.
