The correct answer is D. Great Britain and France taking no military actions after Germany invaded the Rhineland.

Explanation

The appeasement policy was a political position of the United Kingdom that was characterized by being conciliatory towards Germany to keep the peace. This caused the German Nazi regime to violate different international treaties that prevented it from carrying out military actions such as the militarization of the Rhineland, forming an army, interceding in the Spanish Civil War, among others. However, Germany did this military action without the United Kingdom or France having military retaliation against Germany. According to the above, the correct answer is D. Great Britain and France taking no military actions after Germany invaded the Rhineland.

NEED HELP ON THE MIDDLE ONE!!

Answers

Answer:

My best answer would have to be the first one: soldiers had to fight in Asia and in Europe.

The US became involved in the war between fighting Japan, its allies, and the forces of the Nazi party in Europe. Since both Asia, Europe, North America, and many other countries joined this war formally and neutrally (in the form of trade and resource development) it was argued as a total war, meaning a war that encompasses the most largely involved number of nations to this day.

Many believe that the Peace of Versailles became a cause of World War II. What do they mean then? Explain!

Answers

Answer:

When Germany signed the armistice ending hostilities in the First World War on November 11, 1918, its leaders believed they were accepting a “peace without victory,” as outlined by U.S. President Woodrow Wilson in his famous Fourteen Points. But from the moment the leaders of the victorious Allied nations arrived in France for the peace conference in early 1919, the post-war reality began to diverge sharply from Wilson’s idealistic vision.

Five long months later, on June 28—exactly five years after the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife in Sarajevo—the leaders of the Allied and associated powers, as well as representatives from Germany, gathered in the Hall of Mirrors at the Palace of Versailles to sign the final treaty. By placing the burden of war guilt entirely on Germany, imposing harsh reparations payments and creating an increasingly unstable collection of smaller nations in Europe, the treaty would ultimately fail to resolve the underlying issues that caused war to break out in 1914, and help pave the way for another massive global conflict 20 years later.

The Paris Peace Conference: None of the defeated nations weighed in, and even the smaller Allied powers had little say.

Formal peace negotiations opened in Paris on January 18, 1919, the anniversary of the coronation of German Emperor Wilhelm I at the end of the Franco-Prussian War in 1871. World War I had brought up painful memories of that conflict—which ended in German unification and its seizure of the provinces of Alsace and Lorraine from France—and now France intended to make Germany pay.

what is the brief history of the Roman rulers

Answers

Answer:

Rome was founded around 625 BC in the areas of ancient Italy known as Etruria and Latium. It is thought that the city-state of Rome was initially formed by Latium villagers joining together with settlers from the surrounding hills in response to an Etruscan invasion. It is unclear whether they came together in defense or as a result of being brought under Etruscan rule. Archaeological evidence indicates that a great deal of change and unification took place around 600 BC which likely led to the establishment of Rome as a true city.

Cause of the civil war, why was the event significant?, how did it change the United States?, did it effect the United States positively or negatively? How?, how did this event help shape the United States into what it is today ?

Answers

Answer:

Answer will be down below in the explanation box

Explanation:

The cause of the civil war was an outbreak between the north and south of the United States. This was because both had different views on slavery. The north wanted to abolish it, whereas the the south wanted it to stay in place. So they went to war with each other. The north came out victorious and the slaves were set free and with the signing of the emancipation proclamation, slavery as a whole, was abolished. This, in turn changed the course of the United States completely. In my opinion, it benefited the US more positively than negatively. President Lincoln, most importantly had abolished slavery, meaning that oppressed black people were set free. This also could pave the way for a population growth and also promote multiculturalism. I will not go too much into the positives and negatives so i will only name some negatives. Negative impacts however, also arose. President Lincoln was later assassinated in 1865 by John Wilkes Booth. With the abolishment of slavery, the KKK was established and they are still around to this day and black people were percieved as inferior to them meaning that black people would have to go through another hardship. That hardship was racism.
