Group of answer choices by revealing the sources of America's feelings of fear and paranoia by offering personal details about McCarthy that make him look sinister by listing the most outrageous claims made by McCarthy by presenting only the facts that support a particular view of the era

Hello, you did not show the text to which this question refers, which makes it impossible to answer it accurately. However, if an author wants to offer information about Macarthism without offering opinions to the reader, the option that must be made is "by presenting only the facts that support a particular view of the era."

This allows the author to explain what was happening, to present important points about Macarthism, to show how it fit into the community, without presenting any opinion, but maintaining the reader's understanding.

Life is short—yet many of us spend time wondering what we should do with our lives, rather than actually going out there and trying. As hockey legend Wayne Gretzky once said, “You miss 100 percent of the shots you don’t take.” It’s important to actually strike out and follow your heart—even if the odds do not seem to be in your favor. That’s the beauty of life. We never know what can happen unless we take a chance. Here are five reasons why you should take a few risks from time to time.

First off, you can generate new possibilities! If you take risks and put yourself on the line, you could create a whole new set of opportunities for the future. You might achieve what you originally set out to do, but you also may unlock doors that you hadn’t even considered. It’s important to keep an open mind so something truly great and unexpected doesn’t pass you by. Another equally important reason would be that you will always gain. Even if you fall flat on your face, taking a risk will be beneficial. You gain valuable insight and experience from failure. At the very least, putting yourself out there and trying something new will change how you approach similar situations in the future.

Moreover, inaction leads to nowhere. If you do nothing, then nothing will happen. Of course, that’s a comfortable approach but it will limit how much you grow. If you find yourself dreaming of a new job, new relationship, or new destination, put a plan together and go after it. All that can happen is you fail and gain insight to help you the next time. In addition, what if you were to do it? Well, that brings us to number 4, where it can help you overcome your fears! Some people hesitate to go after what they want because it leaves them vulnerable and exposed to hurt, disappointment, and even ridicule. You may fear that if you fail, this means you are a failure, but in fact by taking risks you will learn to overcome your fears. You will likely find that you care less about what people think and about what could go wrong, which is a powerful shift in thinking. Finally but not least, one last reason as to why people should take/say risks, is because mainly, it sets a good example! I mean, who doesn't want to be? Most of us want our children to take risks and try things outside their comfort zones, but to help them we need to set a good example. When they see us trying new things, they will be more likely to do the same. We can’t expect our kids to go out and conquer the world if we’re hiding in our room.

Overall, so many of us still let life pass us by while we sit worrying about what could go wrong. This can lead to major regrets as we grow older. Why not do all you can to live the life you want each and every day? You can do this! Those were the top 5 reasons as to why people should take risks.

Why or why not do you think cells phones should be allowed in school (needs to be a pharagraph, awarding a lot of points!!!

Answers

I believe cellphones should be allowed to use in schools because, research purposes and taking pictures. Phones are a great source of research instead of having to take up space in the computer room. They also take pictures, so students are able to record lectures and take pictures of notes.

Answer:

see explanation

Explanation:

Who doesn’t have a cell phone these days? The amazing thing about cell phones is that they are no longer just used for calling or texting. They have become an indispensable multi-tool wonder. Today’s cell phone is cutting-edge technology at your fingertips. With this in mind, should students be permitted to use cellphones in school?I believe they should not just be permitted to use cell phones, they should be required to use them. Cell phones don’t just allow students to stay connected with family and friends, they are also an excellent learning resource, and they encourage the responsible use of technology. To begin with, cell phones make it possible for students to stay in touch with family and friends. A student can call home and ask a family member to bring them a forgotten assignment or lunch money or to come pick them up if they are sick. Also, cell phones allow parents to keep track of their children’s whereabouts before, during, and after school. And, of course, there’s always the possibility of a student needing to contact a parent because of a dangerous situation. Thus, having a cell phone is like having a guardian angel.  Students can also connect with friends, but not just because it’s a fun thing to do; my teacher asks us to text or email our friends when they are absent to let them know what’s going on in class and to inform them of any homework. When used responsibly, a cell phone can be an excellent communication tool. Also, cell phones–especially smart phones -are a fabulous learning resource. Students can use tools such as the calculator, the map finder, and the calendar. I’ve used my cell phone in Math and Geography and to keep track of my homework. My science teacher lets us use our smartphones to do research when we are doing group work or working on a project. For example, when we were studying ecology we did research on local jobs having to do with protecting the environment. Plus there are lots of great learning websites–including essay-writing websites–we can use to supplement the learning in class. Cell phones are a quick and easy way to incorporate technology in the

classroom. Finally, cell phones encourage the responsible use of technology.Students can learn when and how to use their cellphones to enhance their learning. They will become more independent in their work and more motivated to learn. Students like being allowed to make choices, and they understand consequences.  If a student is texting when he/she should be paying attention to the teacher, the teacher should take the cell phone temporarily away. No big deal. Before a test, all cell phones should be placed on the teacher’s desk. Again, no big deal. By allowing the use of cellphones, students will feel like they are being treated like responsible young adults, and they will appreciate that. If teachers are patient, understanding, and consistent, students will surely become responsible users of technology. In conclusion, people who oppose the use of cell phones in school do it because of the disruptions and distractions cell phones can cause. But we must accept that we live in a world of technology and that cell phones are an important and very useful part of that world. We miss

An airplane takes off when the upward force beneath its wings is greater than the downward force of gravity. Starting from when the airplane is standing still, describe the sequence of events that has to happen for the upward force to become greater than the downward force of gravity.

Answers

Answer:

There's no short answer.

Explanation:

The engines start working by burning fuel, this in turn starts turning the engine blades and the blades suck in air and push it out from the back of the engines. This creates a force that pushes the airplane forward. As the volume of air that goes in and out of the engines increase, so does the kinetic energy the airplane has. At a specific speed, depending a lot of factors such as the weight of the airplane, the length of the wings etc, the force that the moving air provides from beneath the wings surpasses the force of gravity that is applied to the plane, the plane takes off.

1 You hear a young singer talking about his childhood. What is he grateful for? being encouraged to sing by his father. being exposed to music at an early age. inheriting his mother's talent as a singer.

Answers

Answer:

being exposed to music at an early age

Explanation:

Listening is a very important skill and everybody should listen properly to what others are saying or narrating.

In the context, the above excerpt is taken from a speech where a young singer narrates how he began singing and how he was saw movies with his father from childhood, especially the musicals and wanted to learn music and singing.

According to him, he used to sit with his father to see the old movies and musicals right from an early age. He loved watching the musicals and in this way he gained an interest in singing. So he was exposed to singing and music right from an early age. This is what he is grateful for for exposing him to music at young age.
