Decide if the following sentence is grammatically CORRECT or INCORRECT.
Bist du das Geräusch gehört?
correct incorrect

Answers

Answer 1

The following sentence is incorrect.

Verb "hören" means "to hear". In this case we don't have to deal with movement (like by "aufstehen" - to get up), or with state change (like by "sterben" - to die).

So if we want to use this verb in past form (Perfekt), we should use "haben" as auxiliary verb, not "sein".

Correct sentence would be: Hast du das Geräusch gehört?

Hope it helps!
