Hi Ana, i know it's been a while, but I've been busy. I got your letter on you intending on going on a tour in Spain. It will be my utmost pleasure to give you tips on places you should visit during your tour of the country.

Ibiza. I'm guessing you already know there, or at least have heard about it. It's an Island with a very beautiful beach that attracts thousands of tourists. Located on the coast of Spain, by the Mediterranean Sea. It is a sight to behold and I can assure you, you won't regret going there.

Cordoba. Cordoba is the name of a province in Spain. It's located in the Andalusian part of the country, although Cordoba is a small town, it is one of the oldest cities in Spain. If you visit during the month of May, then you'd love to visit there, because there are a host of festivals that takes place there. The May Cross festival and the Cordoba fair. Like with all festivals, the City is beautifully decorated and there being lots of food, drinks and dance.

Barcelona. One of the most popular cities in the country. Located in the Catalonian part of the nation. There in Barcelona, you get to experience a different type of Spanish culture because the catalonians are one who are very proud of their cultures and ways, and they display this publicly too. Ciutat Vella is the main attraction in Barcelona. Being a tourist, you can then see the beautiful Gothic Quarters, the old churches and even Roman ruins. Of course I would mention, La Placa Catalunya which is surrounded by statues and fountains. It is a popular gathering spot and hub for local transportation services.

Those are my 3 favorite places to visit, I hope you enjoy your stay in Spain, and I'm looking forward to you writing me back about your adventures...

Which statement explains David's obligation to the company?
A.He is legally obligated to revise the contents of the handbook.
B.He is legally committed to following the guidelines set by his employer.
C.He is legally required to stop employees from sharing confidential information.
D.He is legally bound to adhere to rules that have not been put in writing.

Answers

b is the right answer.. he is following the rules and regulations

Answer:

B. He is legally committed to following the guidelines set by his employer.

Explanation:

David's signature on the document indicates that he is not allowed to share any confidential information about Company A to anyone outside his work. His signature makes the contract legal that he agrees to following the guidelines. This makes choice B correct.

The paragraph did not mention about David's obligation to revise the contents of the handbook. This makes choice A incorrect.

The paragraph did not mention about his obligation to stop other employees from sharing the confidential information. It only talks about his obligation alone not to share the information about Company A outside. This makes choice C incorrect.

The paragraph indicated that David should adhere/follow the rules which have been put into writing on the handbook and not the other way around. This makes choice D incorrect.

Soto most likely included the imagery of Alfonso’s thumbs in this passage: to illustrate that Alfonso does not like getting himself dirty.

After he mentioned that Alfonso wiped his motorcycle till his thumbs got pink, the author alluded to the fact that this was similar to when Alfonso stayed in the bathtub for too long.

So, his intent is to emphasize the fact that Alfonso was a very clean person who did not like getting himself dirty. So, option D is right.

Their Eyes Were Watching God

Their Eyes Were Watching God is a 1937 novel by American writer Zora Neale Hurston. It is considered a classic of the Harlem Renaissance, and Hurston's best known work. The novel explores main character Janie Crawford's "ripening from a vibrant, but voiceless, teenage girl into a woman with her finger on the trigger of her own destiny".
