There are natural and man-made celestial bodies that exist in the universe. They revolve about a planet the same way that planets revolve around the sun. Moon is a satellite of earth and GOES (weather satellite) is a man-made satellite.
Meteorite
They are small, rocky and usually metallic celestial bodies travelling in outer space. A shooting star is an example of a meteorite where the trail of the meteor is visible as it enters the earth.
Asteroid
These are small rocky celestial bodies which are too small to be considered as planets. They revolve about a star and are considered as the remaining parts from the formation of a galaxy.
Galaxy
A galaxy is a combination of huge masses of gas, dust, stars and dark matter that are held together by gravity. Primal example of a galaxy will be the Milky-way galaxy in which our solar system exists.

Thus, as Betelgeuse is a supergiant star that will eventually result in a supernova it is classified as a high-mass star.
