Suppose you have a friend who says she does not need any resources or career experience before selecting a career, because she has already chosen her career. What might you tell her about career resources and their importance in career selection?

Answers

Answer:

I would like to tell her that it is good that she has chosen her career but there is no harm in taking the help of the career resources as it will clarify her path and clear her conflicts if any. Moreover, it can help in her career selection and give her some ideas of the pros and the cons.

Explanation:

A scientist wants to make certain the results of her experiment are accurate. She has repeated the procedure numerous times and recorded her results. In addition, she reviewed her interpretation of the data, which she found to make sense. What should be the next step to insure her results are valid?

Answers

The correct answer is D. Have other scientists repeat the procedure and obtain the same results.

Explanation:

One of the most accurate ways to validate the results of an experiment is to allow peers (other scientists) to review the experiment and repeat it, which is known as replication. This process is required to make sure the results are accurate because if the experiment is repeated by a different scientist and the results are different this shows the data is not consistent and therefore the results are invalid. Moreover, inconsistency or lack of replication can occur due to incorrect processes or bias by the scientist.

According to this, the next step in this situation is to "have other scientists repeat the procedure and obtain the same results".On the other hand, repeating the experiment but changing one of the variables or the procedures is not a correct step because this will change the essence of the experiment and lead to different results.

Im a Junior and School just started how soon should i start studying for the SAT

Answers

Actually, a lot of schools are deciding to take out the SAT and with Coronavirus, there's uncertainty as to when the next test date would be. That does not mean there's an excuse to not study for the SAT because there are still schools that are deciding to keep the SAT test as a requirement of admission.

Now going onto when you should start studying, it's best to start as soon as possible. I would start looking at some practice tests right now since school just started and you wouldn't be as busy. However, junior year is the hardest year of highschool and not starting earlier for studying for the SAT will just be a burden for you. It's best to start now rather than later. Also, you still have a lot of time left to take the SAT (at least 1-3 times) before your college application deadlines (most of them are usually in November/December). Although there is uncertainty as to when the next SAT test date will be, it's better to be safe than sorry. If things get better (to be honest I don't think they will), you should try to aim for taking the March SAT. If you don't do as well as you wanted that will give you until May/June/August SAT test dates to choose from. I wouldn't wait until November/December of your senior year to complete your SAT. It's too much of a risk. It's better to start studying early and taking the earliest date as possible when you are ready. If you can, you should try taking some winter bootcamp SAT prep courses (just a recommendation, you don't have to take this advice).

With that being said, I hope this helps! I know junior year is SUPER stressful and especially during these unprecedented times, I feel so bad for all juniors and seniors in high school. I wish you good luck and let me know if you have any questions! :)
